It’s funny how you can stress out about something all day long, and it can completely ruin your day. And then one little thing, one little stroke of grace that comes from clutching at that last straw can salvage everything.

Maybe that’s what belief really is, clutching at straws. It goes against everything that seems to make sense, everything in this world that tells us otherwise, that tells us to take the sure bet.
