Apple unveiled the new Power Mac G5 today at their developer’s conference, as well as a completely retooled OS X 10.3, aka “Panther.” The specs on the G5 are very impressive, and the new enclosure is growing on me. I might just have to get me one come this August to replace the ol’ iMac.

Also announced was Safari 1.0 (my web browser of choice), new QuickTime enhancements, iChat AV, and the new iSight camera.
