Download The Cure’s 1989 Performance of Disintegration at the Dallas Starplex

Two weeks ago, The Cure released 20 unreleased demos, mixes, and live performances in preparation for the upcoming 3-disc deluxe reissue of Disintegration. And earlier this week, they started streaming a 1989 concert performance at the Dallas Starplex during which they played Disintegration in its entirety. You can listen to the entire performance here or you can download it courtesy of Chain of Flowers.

All in all, 2010 is shaping up to be a great year for Cure fans. Not only are we getting the three-disc reissue of Disintegration (arguably the band’s finest album) and all of these extra goodies, but Robert Smith has also mentioned that a followup to 1990’s Mixed Up is in the works, as well as a Cure @ The BBC box set and DVD releases of In Orange and Show.
