“Destroy Us” by Beachy Head

Beachy Head is a new project from Slowdive guitarist Christian Savill. Written and recorded during Slowdive’s downtime, the material for Beachy Head’s self-titled debut features collaborations with Ryan Graveface (Dreamend/The Casket Girls), Steve Clarke (The Soft Cavalry), Matt Duckworth (Flaming Lips), and fellow Slowdiver Rachel Goswell.

The first single, “Destroy Us,” is filled with gorgeous guitar textures as befitting a member of Slowdive, but it’s also filled with heavy synth tones that give it an ominous cast. In other words, it’s fantastic.

Beachy Head will be released by Graveface Records on April 30, 2021.
