Deep Mysteries

Personally, I think the modern church could learn a lot from orthodoxy. We try to explain too much, to analyze too much… and sometimes, mystery and silence are best.

Right now, Philip Yancey’s books are the only “spiritual” literature that I read with any regularity. I’m not saying that out of pride or spite… just fact, as sad as that may be. But anyways, his new article (titled “God’s Funeral”) was recently posted on Christianity Today, and as always, it’s well worth your time.
