Dead Can Dance have announced a new album titled Dionysus. The album reflects Brendan Perry’s fascination with Dionysian religious practices and “brings to the fore the rites and rituals that today continue to be informed by the Greek god, with the album’s seven movements representing different facets of the Dionysus myth and his cult.” Read more about the album and listen to the first single.
Dionysus will be released on November 2 by PIAS Recordings, with a European tour to follow in May and June 2019.
