Concert Video: Namelessnumberheadman (3/5/2004, Kansas City)

Namelessnumberheadman specializes in creating really cool, synth-laden jams full of heart and soul.

Back in the early ’00s, I purchased a MiniDV recorder and set out to record as many concerts as possible. The audio and video quality isn’t the greatest — some of the videos are shaky because I recorded them in the middle of the concert venue without a tripod or microphone — but the nostalgia factor is off the charts.

Back in 2004, I traveled down to Kansas City to catch a show with Lincoln’s own Mr. 1986 and Namelessnumberheadman, a trio out of Kansas City that specializes in creating really cool, synth-laden jams full of heart and soul. This show took place shortly after Namelessnumberheadman had released their excellent third album, Your Voice Repeating, on The Record Machine.
