Christmas Eve

Well, what do you know? Tomorrow’s Christmas! I hope you all have a wonderful time with your friends and families, and I urge you to really get away from the bastardized version of Christmas that our society has created. Take some time and really reflect on what Christmas means.

For some, it’s the birth of a Saviour. For some, it’s an escape from the toils of the world. For some, it’s time to get away and relax with those you love. For some, it’s a time of peace and loving your fellow men and women. Sadly, for others, it’s a time of loneliness (it’s ironic that this season of peace and goodwill is a time of increased depression, loss, and suicide). No matter which of the above describes your view of Christmas (and maybe it’s more than one), my prayers are with you and yours.

And in keeping with the spirit of the season, I’ve got a few gifts for you. First, there’s my review of The Fellowship of the Ring. Yeah, I know there are like a thousand of them already floating around, but one more isn’t going to hurt. There’s also a new concert review, as well as new band photos (bringing the grand total to over 400).

Now go enjoy the holidays. I certainly plan to (except for those sequined Christmas sweaters… yuck).
