‘Cause there ain’t no party like a Windows 7 party
Microsoft is set to release Windows 7, the newest version of their operating system, on October 22. To help spread the word about this update, the folks at Redmond are turning to an interesting marketing ploy: house parties. Yes, the same thing used to promote tupperware, candles, beads, and cooking utensils is being used to promote the world’s largest operating system.
To help get folks ready for their house party, Microsoft has released a video that gives some tips for hosting a great Windows 7 party. But personally, I prefer the above version, even if it does imply a very different kind of party. Via
