My latest article for Christ and Pop Culture, titled “Character Flaws and the ‘Final Frontier’ ”, looks at Star Trek’s optimistic vision of humanity’s future, and the flaws of such an approach. This was quite a fun article to write: it allowed me to relive some of my Trekkie glory days and indulge in some Trek-related nostalgia.
