C.S. Lewis On Live Action Narnia: “Buffoonery”

C.S. Lewis thought that a live-action version of The Chronicles of Narnia would result in “buffoonery or nightmare” and “blasphemy”. He wasn’t opposed to animation, just not by Disney, who he felt combined “so much vulgarity with his genius.”
