Bits and Pieces

I’ve made a few minor updates to the site. The photo galleries have been redone — they’re now powered by the mighty Opus database. All hail MySQL! I’ve also fixed (I think) some minor layout gremlins that had been bugging me for awhile. I tend to get a bit anal when it comes to stuff like that.

I had planned on getting groceries today (now that I actually have money in the ol’ checking account) but I made the mistake of hitting Best Buy. It’s still been at least 4 weeks since I made it to the grocery store. On the other hand, the collector’s edition of Akira and first volume of Robotech are now in my DVD collection. You gotta have priorities.

Wanna see some serious Jet Li coolness?!? Check out the trailer for his upcoming movie, The One. Yeah, some of it looks a little too much like The Matrix, but we are talking about Jet Li here. Heck, just watching this guy walk on screen is cool!

Zao’s coming to town soon… but I’ll be seeing Radiohead. Nyaah!!!
