A Few Things

Alright, so I’m a bit of a geek. I just finished watching Apple’s Macworld keynote, and I’m all giddy inside. I’ve been a Mac user for years, and nearly all of Opus has been developed and produced on a Mac. And as much as I love my iMac, I want one of those new G4s so bad!

If you’re looking to rock this summer, be sure to check out Bright Calm Blue. They just left on a 5-week tour to bring the music to the kids, and they’re well worth your hard-earned cash. I’m seeing them tonight and can’t wait.

I saw Stavesacre and Denison Marrs on Monday. Denison Marrs (I missed their show at Cornerstone) was a pleasant surprise… I dug their heavy, spacey sound. And Stavesacre… I really don’t know why I haven’t listened to these guys more. They tore it up at the Cog Factory. Big love to the Omaha crew, and to Craig (our awesome waiter at Village Inn) for putting up with 30 rock n’ roll kids.

The Cornerstone 2001 stuff will be on the website this weekend. Prepare yourselves…
