A Couple of Excellent Portal Shorts
These two shorts explore the “Portal” universe is two very different ways, but they’re both awesome.
If you haven’t played either of the Portal video games, then you’re missing out on a truly unique and enjoyable gaming experience — one you don’t have to be a “hardcore” gamer to appreciate. Not surprisingly, the games have inspired some filmmakers into putting their own twist on the game’s mythos.
The first is Portal: No Escape by Dan Trachtenberg, and it’s the darker of the two, but no less fascinating and well-made.
EisenFeuer’s Outside Aperture shows what might have happened to Chell after the first Portal, and her dream of finally getting some cake.
