Thanks to detailed artwork and solid animation, The Princess and the Pilot isn’t a bad movie. But it had the potential to be much more.

I often describe this film as disturbing, but not for the normal reasons.

If you’ve got a few spare bucks and two hours to kill, Macross II might be worth a rental.
