It’s something pleasant and pretty to put on when you’re not looking for music that demands much attention.

The word pleasant sums up this CD quite nicely — and I mean that in every good way imaginable.

Melodium attempts to take purely electronic arrangements and make them sound organic and natural.

As slow and mellow an album as you’re likely to hear all year.

In a way, it’s nice and refreshing to hear something so simple, unpretentious, and as honest as Maduro.

There were plenty of moments where Violence & Technology became a rather invigorating listen.

Yokota’s compositions allow me to regain a sense of serenity and composure.

The songs have an experimental, unpredictable feel to them but never lose their listenability or catchiness.

There’s a sense of wonder here, as if these songs were composed by starry-eyed children inspired by their first planetarium visit.

Simply put, there are colorful, magical, vibrant little worlds contained within these songs.

Less electronic than Mus’ previous albums, the acoustic-oriented El Naval still has plenty of merit.

No matter which disc you get, the wide array of styles makes for an interesting listen.
