Challenging while still entertaining, Air’s latest work should go over well with those looking for a late-night mood album.

This is just confirmation that Air is one of the greatest bands around right now.

A classic in the same league as all of their previous albums.

Forgettable, obviously churned out to fill a niche, and reeking of assembly line workmanship.

The album often lacks focus, resulting in a disc that is just as spotty and uneven as its predecessor.

Hood updates their pastoral post-rock with glitchy electronics and Anticon hip-hop to create a compelling wintry sound.

Rainstick Orchestra’s music doesn’t quite come together in a way that ultimately satisfies.

The fact that their music still has plenty of its own charm says something to me.

Understated, subtle, patiently constructed electronic pop at its finest.

At times, the album gets a little too relaxed, and Munk and Skott seem to rely a bit too much on the inherent loveliness of their sound palette to keep things interesting.

A sense of warmth and comfort pervades every song on this album.

Tales From the Oxygen Den is a pretty solid comp, and is quite inline with the label’s stated goal of respecting the past.

If there’s a heaven, I hope that this is the soundtrack.

Many of the songs on the CD consist of soaring string arrangements, quite appropriate for a series that’s all about flying and freedom in the skies.

Kanno’s work is almost instantly recognizable, and yet it’s also incredibly diverse.

Unapologetically harsh at times, it’s not particularly pleasant stuff, but for what it is, it’s really quite good.

As lovely as Atone’s sounds are, there’s a sense that the songs lack a real focus.

Even with the album’s obvious flaws, Summer Make Good is certainly no reason to write off or dismiss Múm.

Blissful-yet-bittersweet psychedelic music that is bound to conjure up some childhood memories.
