Infinity Shred Prepares to Travel the Long Distance

The album’s first single is accompanied by a post-apocalyptic skateboarding video… because why not?
Infinity Shred

New York-based space-synth-metal (yes, that’s right) trio Infinity Shred have announced their follow-up to 2013’s Sanctuary. Titled Long Distance, it’s the group’s first album with new member Clara Warnaar on drums. The first single from the album is “Choir VI” and it continues the group’s maximalist epic, with arpeggiated synths and crashing drums striving for — and reaching — something truly epic.

Watch the video for “Choir VI” — which is chock full of delightfully retro-looking computer animation (and boss skateboard tricks) — below. (More info on the video here.)

If you’re a fan of M83’s Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming, then prepare to meet your new favorite group. Long Distance will be released on October 14, 2016 by Terrorbird Media. If you want your brain melted in the meantime, then be sure to check out Sanctuary.
