DPP2014, #10: Ginger Cookies

You know they’re delicious because of all the butter.
DPP2014, #10

Food is a huge part of the holiday season. We all have cherished and favorite dishes that remind us of childhood, that we enjoy sharing with friends, that we love to prepare with our loved ones. Tonight we made one of my favorite winter/holiday snacks: Renae’s grandma’s ginger cookies. They’re easy to make — kids love rolling the little balls in sugar — and they’re so delicious you won’t even notice you’ve eaten a dozen or so until it’s too late. But they’re made with a ton of butter, so it’s all good.
